What started out as a motocross racing teenager named Troy Lee painting helmets in his parents garage for his buddies, has grown to become recognised as the premier custom helmet paint shop in the world, and is the place "The World's Fastest Racers" go when only the best will do.

Our artists create the helmet designs worn by motorcycle superstars: Jeremy McGrath, Mike Metzger, Ryan Hughes, Tim Ferry, Jeff Ward, Rick Johnson, Ezra Lusk, Ronnie Runner, Miguel Du- Hamel, Scott Russell, Angelle Savoie, Jake Zemke and the Gobert brothers to name a few, plus auto racers like: Juan Pablo Montoya, Jimmy Vasser, Al Unser Jr., Paul Tracy, Max Papis, Scott Dixson, and more than a dozen NASCAR teams, plus too many athletes to name in all forms of sport where helmets are an integral and personalise part of a competitors gear.

Additionally, the TLD artists create full size mechanical masterpieces for manufacturers like Nissan, Mazda, Hyundai, and Polaris and scale model art work for Hot Wheels along with vehicles and gear used in movies like Charlie's Angels 2, Fast and Furious, Driven and Batman.
